Firstly could I say I recognised over a year ago what was going to happen ref H.O.C. if you recall at the time on here people like Barryw told me I was wrong but never the less I stuck by this.
I actually thought the Tories would(and should have) won the election outright by a large number, instead they had to bow down to the 3rd party in the election.e
So yes, for some time I'v been aware Labour is in need of re grouping, and they have a great opportunity now to do just that.
This so called co olition cant last with so many diffrences, and i do think both the tories and lib dem will live to regret there little pact.
Im pleased labour didnt go for the PACT as it would not have worked to many complications with it.
To be fair labour had been there 13 years and the usual anti govt vote took place.

You will this as no surprize that I disagree with your view.
I don't recall the debate ref Aldi's but as a group that was the labour decision, an believe me theres been times iv sat at meetings of-the labour group and been out voted, but thats democracy, i accept i signed up to support that group as we all did(including you ken)
I'v always supported the viiew if you campaign enough and put up a strong argument you will win through, I also believe in sticking in there and fighting from within.
You have told many times of your SOCIALIST background, which doesn' add up when you campaign for a conservative MP and become a tory member.
I do understand that the labour party REJECTED your application to rejoin the party and so you are probably bitter, and realy had no alternative if you wanted tor remain in politics but to join the conservativesor another party.
A true socialist wouldn't even think of joining such a party as the conservatives, but hey, everyone has the freedom of choice.
With regard to local elections, like across the country I think you will see Labour becoming strong on local council elections, just like general election day.
