    The big screen scored a bit of a first victory with the performance of the local schools showing on there performing Christmas Carols. Roving man about town Phil Eyden put up a picture in one of the threads showing a good turnout watching. Of course all mums and dads turn to mush when they see their kids performing, so seeing them up on the big screen will have delighted those parents and secured a first notch up for the screen in its quest for popularity.

    Yes saw an item about the banners in the papers. Not sure if they are fixed hordings or of a flapping nature as yet. But if they are of a flapping canvas nature they may well take off for Calais in the next Force 8.
