16:4036797Vic - they are well looked after by the National Trust and I am sure they are not being starved - I am sure you could speak to Simon up there to confirm they are ok...
Been nice knowing you :)

19:1136817You are right but the water gets iced up over night ,I know Simon well and he also knows that i have been going up there for years, others do as well at times but there is still not alot for them to eat at this time of the year and I must say this year is very bad And I still feel they need hay most days. But again the N/Trust do look after them and i have seen them up there, but I still worry about them at this time of the year,at times I feel they are my ponys ,but it would still be good if the public keeps a eye on them. Thank you.

21:2936988they are ok vic, i spoke to someone today that saw them cavorting around yesterday.
i realise that they are like pets to you, but they are intelligent wild animals that are quite used to adapting to different environments, however harsh.
that does not mean that they do not look forward to personal visits from people like yourself that bring treats along.

22:0136996Stop worrying Vic, they are far better looked after than you imagin.
Don't worry about the water either, they will eat the snow.

18:1737927Good luck with your knee next week Vic. I had the same operation two years ago at QEQM Margate in the Spencer wing. It is the private part of the hospital but I had it done on the NHS. I had my own room, all very posh, and good grub but you don't feel like eating when you have had an operation.
I was told last week that I need a new hip now, I am not looking forward to it but if it means that I can walk about pain free it will be worth it.

19:4837943Alec I to was going in the Spencer wing but that has now been told it is full up on that date so it is the main ward for me,But I have said I do not wish to be in a mix ward,I do not think they should put men and women in the same ward,if it comes down to that i might pull out.I will phone up in the week.
