Just randomly spotted this in one of my pictures whilst avoiding football - any 'oldies' remember this, wonder how long it was there for ? Next to the Museum/Walmer Castle pub

Paul, I can remember the police box there in the mid 60s.

I can remember the police box in the market square. Next to the bank that is now an estate agents.

That's the trouble with Police Boxes. They tend to disappear... This is rather good website that tells all about the history of these constructions:
