  I've said before that I doubt Osborne will be in post at the time of the next election, I'll go one further and predict he will be sacked this year as shadow chancellor. I think that Cameron is going to have problems over the coming year over whether he is the new voter friendly all singing all dancing leader he'd like the electorate think he is, or whether he is a slick spin king with a hard Thatcherite underbelly. If he slips in the polls I predict that the rightwing press and the Tebbit wing of his party will put him under pressure to ditch the 'softer' style and policies, and even some shadow cabinet members.
