There is a letter in todays Dover Mercury ,in response to the front page story in last weeks Dover Mercury .It is with reference to the manager of The Roman Painted House (a wonderful attraction) They have had their membership of White Cliffs Country Tourism Association terminated .
For some reason someone thinks I had a hand in this .I do not attend meetings of this association,and my role on the council did not involve Tourism.
I have for the past six years and still am responsible for the musuems
I find these kind of comments very unkind .Someone out there has got it in for me ,but to accuse me of something I know nothing about is very unfair .
Truth has never been the main priority for tabloids, Sue. Take plenty of no notice. I haven't read it (never take local rags - no need now I don't have a dog to clean up after) but I can guess it is 95% inaccurate. Most people know that, too. Ignore the eejits!!!!
