Yes, Jeremy Clarkeson was quite careful to apologise about critisising Brown's appearance. Some of the press did not pick up on that though.

He is unquestionably an idiot
and there is plenty of evidence of his lies.
I found it laughable because Brown was attacked and referred to as Scottish and one eyed, that some created an artificial fuss suggesting Clarkeson said that it means all disabled people or Scots are lying idiots! Amazing, but I do understand how disabled people and Scots might be upset at being associated, even very remotely, to Brown. I feel that same way about being Brown merely being a fellow member of the human race
I do like Clarkeson, he is a great antidote to supine political correctness. One of the few bright spots on the BBC!
