    nearly agree colin, ramsgate has a waterfront full of bars,cafes and bistros full of people all the year round and folkestone has its creative quarter.

    deal seafront is about as dull as dull can be.

    we are endowed with an excellent promenade,before and after the changes and we look out at the ever changing panoramas at sea.
    however, the churchill hotel is banged up as are so many beach cafes plus the one at the end of the pier, why would anyone choose to spend a day or evening at our seafront?
