apparently 2 wheeled fixed bicycles are banned on southeastern for the duration of the olimpics.fold away ones will be allowed because they do not take up large amounts of room.
the question is this fair as at the moment the trains are running half empty.

The trains do seem to be doing good business throughout the day, and yes they will not be carrying bikes for the duration of the Olympics.
A cyclist was knocked-down and killer by an Olympic (services?) bus, near the stadia, the other day. He would have been safer on the train.
Dogs, push chairs, luggage and fancy dress are all OK though.

Brian you ask the question, is this Fair? It certainly is not, hardly in the spirit of things with the Olympics taking place not to mention our own Bradley Wiggins winning the Tour de France. Its lunacy!
Yes Tom, very sad to hear about the cyclist who was tragically killed by the bus, I believe they have arrested the bus driver.

I see a chap from Whitstable has got round the ban by using a unicycle! So it's not two wheels but two fingers to SET.

I saw one fellow who, under the instruction of the train 'guard', take the front wheel off his bike to get around the problem.
I hope cyclists can do this before the train arrives next time to save us all the wait.

Yes Brian, being left with a 'far thing', the train would be best.
