    Warsi did better this week than she usually does, but that's not saying much! She did go a bit over the top, but she was reasonably eloquent and sensical. However, she was very silly when pressing Straw saying wooly things like "your policy isn't working" without explanation (when her policy appears to be a hangover from Michael Howard days - let Parliament set an arbitrary annual limit!). Straw patiently explained that you can control how many come in by altering the points tarriff required for entry, but she wasn't listening.

    I'm still stunned that Labour shared a platform with Griffin at all, but since they did I'm glad it was Straw. Could have been a disaster if they put on a random UAF enthusiast. Straw knows the BNP well from work in his own constituency.
