    The Storming at the Castle

    I'm an easy going fellow
    pleasant, as a rule
    with age I've grown mellow
    and yet, nobody's fool

    A family man, a granddad
    a student of life still
a bit of a stoic, I might add
    but today, I'd ruddy kill

We'd long set the time aside
    the Castle to assail
so much to ogle at inside
    but alas, to no avail

    We stand and we anticipate
we wait and wait, we grow irate
    our navel's we do contemplate
but see no sign of Castle gate

    Surely somebody can
    a calendar peruse
its not beyond the wit of man
    to foresee the queues
