  I'm sorry to hear this, Barry. We had someone throw stones at one of our windows recently. It broke the pane, and of course we had to pay to mend it.
  
  Also, the saddle and post was stolen from my daughter's bicycle, and it could only have been a fellow student at her university who has done so. The bike was a special one, bought on student's disability, because she has limited mobility, and replacement posts are not easy to get. Now my daughter is really struggling to get to her lectures, her illness has been exacerbated, and her work is affected. To say we're angry with the thief would be an understatement.
  
  I just wish people would have more consideration for others.
