    Dirty bomb detectors.

    The first ones to be installed were at the approach to the inward freight lanes some 5 or 6yrs ago, the second pair were installed at the convoy exceptionel lane by customs at the end of the freight lane 1yr later. since then they have been adding as the dock exit routes change.
    Hope that helps a little. and they have always been yellow.

    The grey ones you saw Brian are electrical boxes.
