I am looking forward to the cutting off of Labour's Trade Union financial lifeline with the imposition of a £50,000 maximum individual donations (per person, per business or per Union, being allowed to all political Parties.

Already nearly bankrupt that should help finish them off as a major party, supplanted by the LibDems as the main opposition to the Conservatives in due course.

There is a parallel back in the 20's when Baldwin helped Labour supplant the Liberals with a coalition deal with Labour. It was what made Labour 'electable' in the first place.

A surge from some LD supporters could have been expected but I dont think it offers Labour anything long-term.

    Consider this:

Every term of Labour Government has ended in a financial crisis with the longest ever period ending in the biggest bust.

Every term of Labour Government has ended with unemployment higher than when it started.

The problem with Labour is that when they get into office they behave like kiddies let loose in a sweet shop with our money being the sweets.

They deserve oblivion and nothing more. Useless and incompetent they are past their sell by date.
