Sid, I wrote that carbon pollution does exist! it is the reason why there are laws in our Country and many others aimed at reducing carbon emissions! Ergo, the DHB plan to increase HGV traffic by about 100% in Dover over the coming 30 years collides with laws in place in Britain and also in European countries! Food for thought! Especially here in Dover where so many people are against the Port-sale, it seems to me a good thread to pull on in order to make sure that DHB executives are not alone in making the planning, but that the Gov is aware of all the implications and looks into the planning directly, so as not to do the exact opposite of what the law says, which is to curb and not increase carbon emmissions!
This was one of my points in the feb representation to gov.
