Sid, carbon pollution is a fact that no-one can dispute, whereas not all agree that this pollution can cause climatic change, this the point that I made. Thus, the carbon emmission laws that are meant to curb carbon emmissions and therefore should make unfeasible DHB'S plan to double HGV (heavy goods vehicle) transport in Dover's Port over the next 30 years are in place to prevent climatic change, but as some scientists and people in general dispute that climate change is caused by man, my point is that carbon emmissions are responsible for pollution, and we in Dover are being poisoned by a motorway crossing our seafront and making a number of streets desolate (Townwall, Snargate).
So even if it didn't cause climate change, it still poisons us! Claro?
