23:3265278I was driving back from London this evening and saw the glorious double rainbow over Dover. If I had had my camera with me I think I might have pulled over and taken a few shots. It really was stunning.

15:1465374Yeah, I was out in town, heading towards Pencester Gardens, andsaw the whole arc; I've never seen such an arc before, a comple semi-circle. The Castle and Light-tower Church shone in the Sun, and on reaching the Seafront area I saw that the arc travelled from Western to Eastern Docks exactly!
No doubt a sign that our Ports will be kept safe and secure from flogging-off!

15:2565376Thought I'd pop this one in of the Beacon Church in London Road that I took about 8 or 10 years ago.

15:3165379Definitely a sign, Terry, that our churches in Dover will no longer be pulled down or "converted', that the tide will turn!
I am proud of the one oppossite the Townhall that fought back! It is a real Dovorian Church, deserving full honours!

15:3865382Absolutely beautiful. And a sign that Dover's long-awaited fight back is beginning, one hopes.

15:2265480It stretched from East to West, Brian, and that means from Eastern Dover to Western Dover. Our coastline runs East-West!
