  I took this never before shown photograph on 26th April 1988, from Langdon cliffs showing the reconstruction of the Eastern docks. Barely recognisable to todays current scene.
  Tell them that I came, and no one answered.

  Ah Well done Colin I was working there on that one as a welder.
  
  Also you see the ship beween the two ferrys I was also working on her she came in for a refit and I had to fit my time in with both jobs.

  Interesting picture`s there Paul, which made me think of something that nobody seems to have mentioned on here. Dover`s probably one of the very few places that has actually grown over the years, not through building`s or population, but actual land mass. (Small maybe, but something else to brag about).

  The pens were very big inside I was posted in there when I was in the RNXS which is now gone along with the pens.
