    were they visitors from far away?

    i seem to recollect that on more than one ocassion rescue teams have had to go in and airlift local people from that same area.

    the tide comes in and surrounds the unwary.

    how did they notify the rescue people?
    my understanding is that mobile phones do not get a signal there.
