  Thanks Harry ,you are right this thread has gone off the rails .To night I shall be at the Parish Council meeting and I will raise the issuie re the groudsman .The minutes are not clear and as I pointed out I had to leave the meeting as Im not part of River Parish Council when this was discussed..I have no authority over the Rec at all .I will always give my opions but at the end of the day that is one part of River where the DDC no longer has control
  
  Why people think we at River are snobs beggars belief ,just because a lot of people take pride in their surroundings and try to and improve their lot does not make you into a snob .
  
  Im as down to earth as the next man or to be politically correct woman .
  
  All the time I represent River on the DDC i will try my best to fight for our community .
  
  I have no powers over the Town Council of Dover only when DDC money is involved .
  
  Social Housing Howard and until recently Play Areas .
  
  Dover Town Council sets their own precept and chose to spend as and how they wish .The BIG Screen was a district issuie .
