    I disagree Bern all the preperation work for the Bowling Green had been carried out prior to the take over .We need to let the new contractors bed in before we judge .Sheli and Bern you pay into River Rates now do you /.Were you at the AGM .Our Chairman of Parish Council is a very decent man as is the chairman of the Recreation committee .

    Dont worry if i see standards slipping I shall ask why .The Ground made a loss of

    over £26,000 last year. .So OAPs like myself will raise the questions

    Dont forget we have to pay for the up keep of all the parks and play areas owned by DDC .like other rate payers of the district .So in River we pay for our own park plus Pencester,Connaght etc .So I think our Parish Council are aware of the costs ..
