Not sure how many will eventually get to the intended recipients (I have to send them out in three separate chunks), but this is my latest Nesletter.

Dover War Memorial Newsletter - "From the Front"
Maggie and Simon, who run the Dover War Memorial Project, have sent me their latest newsletter - From the Front. It is a very good and interesting read, with all the articles relevant to Dover and many of course, to this special year. I have attached it to this email.
It has been checked for viruses, so is safe to download.

Dover Town Carnival news:
"As always at this time of year, we are looking forward to the coming Carnival Season !
Late March saw the Selection of the new Court of Dover 2012, at The Qube Dover. Sponsored by The Qube.
Dover Town Carnival 2012 will be held on Sunday 8th July; as with last year, the Carnival will start as Dover Regatta finishes at 6pm.
In order for us to have a successful Carnival this year, we ask for your assistance: could you, or your company sponsor a part of our costs for the year, or maybe you would like to sponsor a band for the parade itself ?? However large or small - all sponsorship is gratefully received.
In return, we are able to offer you a link on our Website or a logo on our float (which takes part in all of Kent's Carnivals).
The Court are available to assist sponsors with their own events, if only to raise the PR for it.
As an organisation we send out press releases for every event and the Courts are often in the local papers as a result, as would be our sponsors.
Last year the Carnival Costs were £6000 and the Court Costs close to £2500 (including clothing, transportation and expenses), in addition we spent £500 on our Float which needs to be updated this year.
Fundraising activities take place all year round, perhaps you run or know of an event where the Court could run a raffle or bring along their float to assist with our fundraising efforts, or perhaps you are able to donate a raffle prize for us to use at one of our own events.
However large or small, your donation is gratefully received.
If you would like to discuss options for sponsoring the Court or Carnival, please do not hesitate to call either myself on 07515 434649 or Dawn McDermott on 07773 201099.
Thank you for taking the time to read this email, we hope to hear from you soon.
Kind regards,
Michelle Sheppard
