  i have always smiled at ross and his over the top comments.
  
  
  this incident is beyond the pale.
  
  two things have to be noted here, it went out recorded, not live, so the BBC had a chance to stop it.
  the time it took for the BBC to take action, there attitude seemed to be , it will all blow over.
  
  apparently the islington set think that the mass population would find it acceptable that a 78 year old man should be
  subjected to poisonous messages on his answering machine.
