According to the Sunday Times today a new Government leaflet is telling people to avoid trying to convince their children the difference between right and wrong when talking to them about sex. They say that children should be left to form their own views and values.
One on the most basic and important things a parent must do is teach their children right from wrong and to pass on their values. We have done that with ours and judging from our oldest son it has been very successful, listening to him talk to our younger boys at times is just like listening to ourselves talk to them. Yes, it is difficult to do and sometimes they will go through phases of 'revolt', but by sticking with it and drawing strict boundaries you will turn out better more balanced and responsible member of the community.
This leaflet does indeed say it all about this oh so politically correct Government. Forget right and wrong, forget morality - interfering, nannying and wrong, wrong, wrong
