    Jeez blindin' ones there of the Dieppe Seaways Ed..right in the thick of the action. Nice looking ship, such clean lines, will have to have a run on that one as soon as i can..as soon as the sea calms down a bit..

    Following on from the tidal flow and the differences between the sand/silt movement and the area of sea not prone..I took this latest picture the day before yesterday when we were hit by a bit of late sun. The dividing line is often much sharper than shown here...but the weather was windy and the sea was choppyish so I guess that accounts for the dividing line being a bit less distinct than normal. A peculiar phenomenon...but of course I'm just speaking as Joe Landlubber.

    Worth seeing the charts Ray put up in the link on post 129. I have added the arrows to the pic below..seems to be about right. Although the arrows appear to turn back on themselves at certain times of the day.
