Yes indeed the very welcome German visitors have arrived..another AIDA.
First of all let me show you a picture of the harbour from yesterday. It was late afternoon and all entirely gloomy except for one shaft of light picking out the ferries.Typical Easter you might say. Hopefully it will reproduce okay on here.
and now almost LIVE.. just arriving as we speak. The AIDA STELLA. As Kevin says there its a maiden visit.
Looking very similar to the AIDA LUNA but this one even bigger at more than 71,000 tons. They all have the same colour scheme of pursed lips etc...
That colour scheme isnt everyone's cup of tea but there you have it.
The ship features all mod cons plus
of course, as you would expect.You can see they even have a giant cinema screen at the top playing the latest feature film. Not many watching out on deck on this cold bleak morning.
Let's hope the visitors can find something to do today in a very chilly Dover.
