Great coverage all round there chappies on the MSC Magnifica and beyond. Great stuff.
In the words of Old Mr Grace..
" you all did really well..."
That young Brian Dixon lad shows promise....down there on the pier at 6.30am waiting with baited breath, muscles flexed, and camera poised...all for the arrival. If he keeps on showing this level of enthusiasm we may be able to offer him an apprenticeship in say three or four years...
And that Chinook wouldn't half rattle the oul timber frames of the Coastguard Station coming that close..gadzooks!
I bet rivets were a-popping out of the sensitive machinery up there and the staff were a-picking up their tooth fillings off the floor.
Seriously though, good to hear so many visitors made it into the town as the ship was met by the usual array of coaches. I share the concerns too re the fountain and so on. pity isnt it..
Ah yes i remember the MSC Poesia too..but it feels like a long time ago to me now somehow. A different era or something. But good times.
Just come back to add this extra picture of MSC Magnifica taken around midday yesterday.
My computer is running so slow this morning its hit reverse..so I'll leave it at that.
