Dave I am still seeing your blue buses in there in the thick of the action..well done with that. We have got to offer these tourists as much facilities as we can muster, so its good to see the greeters even if they are a little overwhelmed...and yes volunteers needed in all walks of life..you need look no further than this website as a whole, as in other areas of general life, to see that in action.

Today is another great day for the Port of Dover in terms of substantial port calls. Two enormous ships arrived within minutes of each other a short while ago this morning. The tugs just finishing with one liner and going straight to the other. The towns traders will surely benefit greatly today as there are huge passenger numbers.
Fog played a part though in the images as you can see here, but it has begun to clear a tad..
Blimey...gimme a torch someone...the AIDA Luna being manoeuvred backwards into position

..and then the magnificent MSC Musica makes an appearance out of the mist

Herewith a couple of additional shots to add to the mix of the magnificent Musica.

The images are a bit grey ( in reality they were even gloomier, had to brighten them a wee bit) but some of the guys might get something better later as the sun has come out now in full glory...sods law innit...grrrr .

But the ships themselves are magnificent..it is truly great to have them coming here and no mistake. long may it go on. The AIDA Luna weighs in at 69,000 tons approx and the MSC Musica weighs in at 93,500 tons approx, so they are substantial players...or to use a technical term...whoppers!
