Great to see the famous blue buses up close Howard. I see them in the distance down there next to the Liners so they are clearly playing a solid part in keeping some of the massed tourist influx local..always great to see pix of the cruise visitors enjoying the town, enjoying what we have to offer. Keep those tourist pictures coming Howard when you can. There is potentially a rich rich stream of revenue here. But the potential needs to be accessed and harnessed.

Perhaps Ross Miller in his new role could look at ways of enticing.. at source..tourists to linger here in town.

The fog is currently playing a huge part down at the Port. No visuals at all. The big ships yesterday, the MSC Musica and the AIDA Luna, were invisible for much of the day. Last night in the pea-souper gloom of 9pm, the three growling horns of departure rumbled out from the AIDA Luna. I presume it was the AIDA Luna but could see nothing at all....although for a moment through the swirling gloom, I thought I saw ...and I must have been wrong..I thought I saw Long John Silver strutting the nearby pier complete with parrot on shoulder.
Ermmm perhaps i shouldnt have had that extra drink
