    Yes a lovely shot indeed. Have had a look back through my picture files Howard and cant seem to find anything re The Artemis being in Dover...I cant remember ever having seen it but of course that isnt to say it wasnt here. So much stuff comes through the harbour these days that one forgets after a time..

    The best bet to see the twelve tall ships mentioned in the press release is to pop aboard Ed's sleek vessel and nip over. I would like to try and get my oul bones over there that weekend. something to aim for, and as i said previously I have never seen Dunkerque.

    As we are promised "sailor sing-songs" in the aforementioned press release... I will be expecting Ed Connell himself to sing a couple of ditty's for me on the foredeck on the voyage over. A couple of verses like the following would go down a treat...

    " Fifteen men on a dead man's chest--
    ...Yo-ho-ho, and a bottle of rum!
    Drink and the devil had done the rest--
    ...Yo-ho-ho, and a bottle of rum "
