    The cruise Ship, Deutschland, was berthed in London for the Olympics last year acting as the HQ for the German Olympic Committee. I seem to recall press reports that the interior got quite a trashing from the German team on the way back home!

    Further to Vince's note about the Joline, there is a somewhat larger livestock carrier off the port right now. Waiting to enter? It carries large 'Horizon Livestock' lettering on the hull. If so, this could be the first indication that the Joline is not suitable for the berths at Dover and hence a larger ship. Just speculation at this stage, of course.
