lol! thanks for the culinary tips lads. Yes I regret to say the spuds were a bit plain..will definitely look towards improving the flavour so that from the seagulls point of view they go down much better with such a delicacy as Reg's carp..lol!!

Ah thanks for the info Neil. There was a no-show today then with regard the Joline..perhaps lurking in Calais to strike when the political (small p) temperature is lower. Brian the 'banshees' are out of my line of vision so cant say for sure but I suppose they will turn up as soon as there is some action re the transporting.
