The whole operation took about one hour and off she goes again..with a load onboard !! A significant moment.
This miserable live export trade has now returned to Dover. However it must be pointed out that it is all entirely legal.
In the distance I can hear the sound of demonstrators but cant see them..their voices and whistles carried up on the eastern wind.
But here we are with pictures of the vessel in the news... MV Joline. You can make out the truck onboard carrying the animals..
The vessel looks similar if memory serves me right to the Woolwich Ferry...I wouldnt like to be on it in rough seas.
