    An impressive dual visit again today...two ships of note. They were both already tied up and relaxed before yours truly saw the light of day at 6.20 am...so, early callers indeed.

    Yes in today are the Norwegian Star and the Ryndam. Both have been here before but not this year if memory serves me right.
    As they are already tied up I cant do them justice with the pictures but will settle on a close up of the Norwegian Star which is a 92,000 tonner approx. So another enormous ship...and painted in that gaily coloured way which appears to be the current trend.


    So our close friends from the near continents are in town..the Ryndam ( 56,000 tons) is Dutch, or to put it another way from the Holland America Line and the Norwegian Star is... ermm.. Norwegian...

    With a double header like this, and with ships of this size, you can expect to see lots of passengers in town.
