Some grainy images of Saga Sapphire and Saga Ruby taken with my mobile. Incidentally, have just noticed that if you click on each photo you get a bigger image of same, depending on the file size of the image which you have uploaded.

Saga Sapphire was about to sail and conducted a full boat drill for the passengers prior to sailing, the passengers can be seem mustered in their lifejackets in the first photo. It seems unbelievable that the ill-fated Costa Concordia routinely sailed without conducting a boat drill until long after sailing.

The Saga Sapphire also had two lifeboats lowered for annual survey and these had to be brought back onboard before she sailed, one on each side. The photos then show her going astern towards the Western Entrance assisted by the tug DHB Dauntless with the harbour launch standing by to take off the pilot, and some of the steady trickle of yachts and motorboats entering and leaving the Marina.

The Dieppe Seaways departed by Western whilst I was on the end of the pier. The launch which takes anglers out to the detached breakwater can be seen waiting for her to pass, and in close-up in the final photo.
