    Great coverage guys all round. This thread is linked directly now from the doverforum.com old homepage where I have also added pictures of the great cranes alongside the DFDS deals for anyone nipping across the channel.

    As Kevin says there..further lifting took place last evening as well. The great beasts were on the way over to the western end when summer arrived at a quarter to four..it went again by 4.15 and the gloom returned, but while the sun shone i got these ones...making hay, GPS Apollo and GPS Atlas with the Carnival Legend...

    Interesting bit of info from Vince there saying they cost £25,000 a day each..wow!

    I was up at a sprightly 6 am, did several laps of the harbour jogging at full pace ( !! ) but todays ships were already in situ... they are coming in ever earlier. Both Sagas today..Ruby and Sapphire. Familiar friends.
