    The postcards are amazing Ed..I really dont know the half of it about Dover..being a lowly foreigner !lol That last one got the choppy seas just right immediately outside of harbour. I never knew any of that about transatlantic liners..so there you have it, you learn something new everyday thanks to those pictures and to Johns original piece.

    Earlier I saw this strange looking vessel approaching. From the distance it had a menacing look about it...so I expected some military hardware of some sort. It was only when it entered harbour I realised it was a cargo vessel, so i stripped off my helmet and flak jacket instantly for fear of looking a mite foolish ! ( well..Im in the frontline )

    I couldnt see a name so looked it up on Chris T's Channel Traffic. Its the Magellan Strait. This is a first time in Dover for this one I feel sure.
