Further to the above..just come back to add this one which caught my eye a few moments ago, its moving down the channel right now in fairly thick mist..
It is a tall Russian sailing ship called MIR and is bound for Barcelona.
The Russians are very much into their tall sailing ships it seems, you may remember some of the pictures earlier in the season from Dunkerque..and now here's another one passing in genteel almost ghostly fashion thru the mist. Can be seen right now.
