Great stuff above lads
Re post above (918), sorry to hear about that Ed. I knew of the site of course, never been a member but sad to hear their forum is going. All these smaller local sites need to be supported if people want them to stay in operation. Its tough now in the wake of the all encompassing Facebook.
Some of you will have noticed we were making a few changes ourselves over the past few days. Chris has added a comments section now on the old Doverforum frontpage and I reckon the best move right now is to do the Sea News section over there now and let my contribution to this thread here go. We had a good long run with this thread thanks to all the contributors.
So I am hoping all you regular Sea Newzers .. Ed, Howard, ColetteB, Brian, Kevin, John, Tom, Jacqui, Keef etc and anyone else who likes to drop in occasionally will join me over there. Its a good platform with wider viewing potential ..on google search engines etc.etc..and is very easy to use. it has open membership so maybe some of the guys from Dover Ferry Photos might like to stick up a picture or two.
Strictly just for sea, sailing, shipping etc etc
The page is not entirely done yet still a few bits to do..Chris is at the coalface shovellin as we speak

NOTE: The super big Carnival Legend back in today since very early. Worth a sunday stroll to see it.
Plenty of pictures of it in our earlier posts..
