  It seems the DHB gardener chap retired earlier in the year and a contractor now maintains the grass and hedges etc along the seafront (opposite Harbour House along to the Yacht club area). But this morning I can see that they have gone downhill. The lovely wavey concrete edged raised lawns are filled with foot high weeds and thistles. A shame after all that was done to it a few years back. Maybe they are trying to match the wild flower beds on the beach!

  That is the kind of work I would love to have a go but for my legs.Even with only a small payment.

  Ironic that DDC take their gardening back in house and we see a great improvement, DHB take the other route and it doesn't look promising, still early days though.
