  The gardens in front of the Gateway flats are absolutely lovely and kept really well. I remember when I was very young the sunken gardens had water fountains, and way back before that my mother remembers that they were lit up with coloured lights. It's a pity that that that feature was done away with for whatever reason as it must have been a really attractive effect.
