I saw something I'd never seen before while in Boulogne last week. The town is riddled with seagulls even more of them than Dover and the noise they make early morning is tremendous. But while ambling through the busy streets.. a peculiar event...a seagull was savaging a pigeon. Id never seen the like before and only wish it could happen more often around here

...pigeons yuk.
The seagull was clearly intent on killing the pigeon but somehow let it slip through his hands, so to speak, and the pigeon took off at a rate of knots smashing headlong into a plate glass shop window. The seagull caught him again, the pigeon after more wounding escaped again and went off straight across the street and headlong into another plate glass window. They show some endurance those pigeons as the blighter was still alive. The seagull again caught him and was wringing the things neck when..yes youve guessed it...it escaped again and managed to scuttle underneath a sidedoor. Talk about durability, them pigeons cannot be thwarted! The seagull hung around hoping for the kill. The public didnt care either way...
