    As far as Jim Braithwaite is concerned, I said "I speak as I find". The man invested his time to undertake this role -accepted there was an allowance but that would in no way compensate for the time spent away from his businesses or their development.


    He did Dover no harm. Indeed he invested in Dover and the coalfields[albeit public money]. Not his fault the market does not want to respond.
