An often neglected part of Dover is Shakespeare beach, and I often wonder why. It`s a quiet place most of the time I`ve been down there, and today was no exception. A lovely warm day and I had the whole lot to myself. Is this area ever promoted?

Like Jeane with her related interests to the dead and graveyards, I can relate my interests here to early primitive lifeforms, before land animals.

What, no samphire pickers?

Here's an example of one such early primitive lifeform, Colin, together with his dog! As you can see, I've lost some weight since then!!

i do love the shakespeare cliff, not difficult to imagine someone like king lear or even our victor making an impassioned speech up there during a thunder storm.

Was that taken on the Isle of Wight Andy? I see Cowes in the background. Nice picture there.

Hope you appreciate what you`ve got on your doorstep Brian. I`ve been going down there for years on and off.
