    we are lucky with the small amount of crime involving weapons, but it has been shown that figures are manipulated to fit the target.


    we seem to forget a few years back crime figures were "adjusted" quite blatantly to make things look good.

    where there might have been 3 or 4 laws broken in one incident, they were only counted as one for statistical purposes.
