1/ Vote Conservative because it's the vote that Labour fears most.
2/ Vote Conservative because of David Cameron's tough response to expenses-gate.
3/ Vote Conservative because the Tory MEPs are set to leave the EPP and form the largest centre right grouping in the European Parliament opposed to ever closer union.
4/ Vote Conservative because Tory MEPs will vote against the EU's ambitions to spend our way out of recession.
5/ Vote Conservative because it's the surest way of getting a referendum on Lisbon.
6/ Vote Conservative because David Cameron is the only UK party leader fit to be Prime Minister.

it was indeed a cheap shot, i note that no other party has come across so desperate on polling day.
A good point well made, Howard!

sorry barry, lapel badge politics from the seventies does not impress anyone nowadays.
did you seriously think that someone would log on here, see your post, then decide "i simply must go out now and vote for those nice conservatives"?

Come on Berne out with it
Let me just say - I cannot vote Labour (let's face it chaps, even for an old Socialist like me, perhaps especially for an old Socialist like me, this New Labour malarky just doesn't cut the mustard, especially with Captain Mainwaring "in charge") and there are limited choices after that. I will leave you to toss a coin for the answer. I will freely admit however to voting Green in the MEP stakes. That is, once I had unfurled the proclamation-sized document written in elaborate hand-written script and sung to me by strolling minstrels in 2 seperate keys and a harmonising descant.

i voted for the best two candidates in the county ones, no party thinking there.
i spent an hour or so reading through the candidates and parties on the euro one.
the ladies at the polling station were very helpful and brought me a cup of tea after a while.
eventually i put my cross against the christian fundamentalist, anti abortionist, murderous islamist, non federalist, stop the war, vegan feminist, nuclear fantasist, start a war, free palestine, anti bloodsports party.
when i went in, i intended to vote for the lib dems.
i just got a bit confused.
