Yes you are quite right there Howard. We have lost one or two since the festive season...! and some members work patterns have changed and others have computer problems and so on but of course it hits the content.

It would certainly be good to have Lorraine Sencicle or Reg Hansell. I dont know Lorraine though at all, and dont know how to contact her but Im sure she could be interested. Reg did post a few times on the Open Page during the Hospital campaign...but yes would be good to have them contributing regularly.

I am having doubts now about the POLITICS section and would be interested to hear what others think. It started off well but.. with now with only a regular few contributing a certain level of predictability kicks in. I wonder if it would be better to just merge the two sections..politics and letters into one rolling ball. Would be interested to hear what people think on that one.

Also I would call for a limited use of the one liner. Although Brian is great fun he uses a tad too many for example. One liners very rarely give other members anything to respond to, other than by another one liner..and thread full of one liners can kill the thing. I like a good one liner like the best of them but lets limit there use a bit.

As Roger often says about things around Dover...use it or lose it. This Forum is exactly like that. Use it or lose it. There is nothing so bad as a dead forum, you see them around, if this one was to stagnate I would close it. I did come back from the dead to do this current one as people asked me. Its smaller than the old days but still runs well, but we all have to work it.
