Please don't mix the Politics section with the mainstream, that would be an irritant. It is a specalised area, and deserves it's own section. Popping into Politics once in a blue moon is fine but one doesn't always want to read it all - positions are so entrenched it becomes, if one doesn't mind me saying, all somewhat predictable. Many of us do care about politics but just because we rarely post there doesn't mean we are disinterested or do not understand the issues, it's more often the case one logs on for lighter stuff after a day at work. One does not always want to get involved in a heavy political discourse, and ultimately one that will go no-where. Some people enjoy online arguing and point-scoring, and fair play to them, but it doesn't float all of our boats.
I don't have any problem with one liners if they are genuinely funny, witty and used sparingly. However.
