    That certainly is facinating. My mother used to tell me of her adventures in the tunnels as a youngster, a great adventure playground until the shells started falling.

    Perhaps someone from DDC or DTC should get in touch with Channel4 to get a Time Team visit here - just tell them they'll need pneumatic drills in place of the usual trowels.
