all seems rather one sided to me.

My point is look how much salt is needed to keep the roads into the port open .Yes I know we have to get food delivered etc but when some people cannot get to the shops .You do wonder .Still I have become a whizz at home made soup.

We can get Coldplay, U2 and Ricky Gervais to release a charity record to raise money for the UK Snow Aid. Lenny Henry and Jenifer Saunders can host an all night telethon called White Snow Day. And in between the fun items, they can insert little heart-tugging documentary items showing the hardships us Brits go through in times of snow and ice, just to remind viewers the true meaning of the event.

- 9 January 2010 10:3136913Mentioning DHB, I followed a council gritter towards Southern House on Thursday and in turn I was followed by a DHB Landrover spreading grit whereas the adjacent A20 was still covered in ice and snow. Its all about priority and obviously my chosen route was given priority.
